Paolo Spadoni

Biography:

Dr. Paolo Spadoni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. He has carried out extensive research on the Cuban economy, the economic impact of U.S. sanctions against Cuba, and Canada–Cuba business relations. He has published widely in scholarly and academic venues and is the author of Failed Sanctions: Why the U.S. Embargo against Cuba Could Never Work (University Press of Florida, 2010) and Cuba’s Socialist Economy Today: Navigating Challenges and Change (Lynne Rienner, 2014).
