Trang Chu is the founder of Affective Advisors, a consultancy focused on emotions and risk decision-making for asset managers. Her pioneering work transforms emotional patterns into quantifiable performance frameworks and helps clients enhance their decision-making through cognitive- and emotion-based strengths. With 25 years in financial services as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch, she led global teams in asset and wealth management. As an Associate Fellow at the Said Business School, University of Oxford, she teaches leadership and decision-making and has coached world leaders. Currently, she conducts doctoral research at University College London on language’s impact on emotions and decision-making. Her academic credentials include an MSc in Cognitive and Decision Science from University College London, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BSc from NYU Stern School of Business.
