Michel Piché is a CPA with over 27 years’ experience leading corporate services functions in public and private sector organizations. Recent mandates include Interim Vice President Finance and Administration at Laurentian University and Vice President Finance and Administration at Carleton University. Prior to joining Carleton, he served in a variety of agencies and enterprises including the National Research Council of Canada, Central Wire Industries Ltd., the Canadian Red Cross Society, Explosive Technologies International, and Northern Telephone Ltd. Mr. Piché obtained his Masters in Public Administration at l’Ecole Nationale d’Administration Publique of the Université du Québec. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Chartered Director (C.Dir.). He has been involved with CPA Ontario for the last ten years in developing and presenting workshops on Integrated Planning and Budgeting and previously taught at Nipissing University as part of their B. Comm. distance-learning program. Michel is currently serving on the Board of the Queensway Carleton Hospital and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
